Antique Caribbean Maps & Maps to Download or Print

Don't you just love antique maps? No, okay..well...I do. They give you a glimpse into what a place was like...just like old photographs. There are some very old maps of the Caribbean online. Some are for purchase and others you can view right away. Allposters has one from 1806.

There's also a store on Ebay selling prints of antique maps.

The University of Texas has several historical maps online, including from Virgin Islands 1920; Jamaica 1882 & 1901; seven maps of Havana, Cuba from 1858 – 1899 & three of Cuba from 1919.

Go to RareMaps for original antique maps, ranging in price from US$45 to US$200 each.

There's a good collection, amazing really, of maps from the Ancient World to present day at Fsmitha.com, not very many Caribbean Maps there.

At Oldmaps.de, you can view the antique maps on the screen before you purchase. They've got maps of Cuba, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Martinique, Puerto Rico, a general one of the Caribbean, Central and South America, St. Christopher, Barbados,  Guadeloupe.

Maps you can download or print

These aren't antique, but up-to-date ones. At Caribbeanmag.com, there are six options: the entire Caribbean, Eastern Caribbean, Mid Caribbean (2 sections), Northern Caribbean and Central America. Click here for Caribbeanmang.com maps.

The maps of the Caribbean at WorldAtlas.com are exceptionally clear and bright. The text is very clear, even the smaller islands of Venzuela (not named in other maps) are named with arrows pointing to the 'dots'.

The maps at Caribseeks.com come from those at Maps.com, at least so it says on the maps on the screen.

Road Map of Barbados

This map of Barbados is very detailed as you zoom into it. It contains the major highways as well as the minor roads. You can either view it online or download it in sections to your hard drive. See it here.
